This page provides download and installation instructions for Tabular Editor 3.

Latest version

Tabular Editor 3.27.0.0 (Release notes) is published as two builds, one on .NET 10 and one on .NET 8. The two builds are functionally identical, and they can be installed side by side.

Requires the .NET Desktop Runtime 10. The .exe installer offers to download and install it for you; the portable .zip is self-contained and needs no runtime at all.

On .NET 8

For machines that cannot yet run the .NET 10 desktop runtime. Requires the .NET Desktop Runtime 8.

Tip

Unsure which to take? Take the .NET 10 x64 installer. Choose ARM64 only on an ARM-based PC, and choose .NET 8 only if your organization cannot install the .NET 10 desktop runtime.

Installation Instructions

  1. Download the .exe installer file.
  2. Run the .exe installer. The installation wizard will guide you through the installation.
  3. For instructions on how to activate the product or change a license key, see our getting started guide.

It is not necessary to remove previous installations when upgrading to a newer version of Tabular Editor 3.
